Creamy buttercream frosting, easy to make.

Ingredients
1-1/2
cups
butter
Many recipes call for unsalted butter, but I found that left the frosting too bland.
1/2
cup
shortening
2
pounds
powdered sugar
dsah
salt
4
tablespoons
milk
preferably whole milk or cream
2
tablespoons
vanilla
or other flavoring, but adjust amount to taste
1/2
teaspoon
almond extract
optional
Instructions
Cream butter and shortening together until fluffy, a few minutes.
Add powdered sugar, milk, salt, and vanilla.
Cream together until smooth, 1 – 3 minutes.
Add more milk if too stiff, more powdered sugar if too thin.
