Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter Natural (the kind you have to stir to homogenize, knowing that you will be getting peanut oil all over you and the outside of the jar); not sweetened, peanut-flavored shortening like the two most popular brands.
  • 1 cup butter room temperature
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 3 tablespoons heavy cream whipping cream, straight out of the carton (not whipped)

Instructions

  1. Cream peanut butter and butter together.
  2. Add powdered sugar and mix together.
  3. Add vanilla and cream.
  4. Mix together until blended. If it's too dry, add more cream a little at a time. If it's too runny, add more powder sugar.

  5. Mix on higher speed for about 3 minutes, until it's light and fluffy.
